Welcome to my portfolio

HI, I'm a recent Graduate from Staffordshire University. My time at university was spent studying Computer Games Programming, these are some of the projects I have worked on in university and in my spare time. Please have a look through and don't hesitate to get in contact with me if you have any questions.
Get comfortable and thanks for taking the time to look through my work.

We All Die Poor

We All Die Poor is a 2D wave survival game that was created during the 2018 Ukie Student Games Jam at Staffordshire University by me and 4 of my friends. The game jam theme that year was change, our team took this literally and we decided to make a mathmatical based game based on shooting the correct amount of change (pounds and pence) to defeat enemies.

Dwellings

Dwellings is a needs simulator revolving around surviving as someone who is living rough. Dwellings was conceived and created during the Global Game Jam 2019 at Staffordshire University by me and 4 of my friends. The theme for the game jam was What Home Means To You, our team took this in a different direction and focused on the hardships of people who are not so fortunate and are without a home.

Crowd Simulation Android App

This Crowd Simulation Android App was developed by me for use in one of my university modules. It models basic AI crowd simulation algorithms running on an Android Device. It was created using the Unity Game Engine.

Chill Pill

Chill Pill is a physics based mobile arcade game developed in the Unity Game Engine. It was developed in my spare time during lockdown, I started development around the end of April and released it on the Google Play Store on the 17th of June. The game play is very simplistic and arcadey and was designed to be picked up and put down easily.

Box

Box is a 2D physics platformer created using the ODBAR Engine (See ODBAR Engine listing). Box has the player take control of a sentient box trying to escape an abandoned underwater research facility. The facility is full of hazards that the player has to carefully dodge and avoid.

ODBAR Engine

The ODBAR Engine is a game engine that was developed as part of a work simulation module during my time at Staffordshire University. The ODBAR Engine is primarily aimed at developing platformers, it includes many features that can be used for different types of platformers.
